dopting the humble moniker Timothy the Great as a youngster, Tim took up magic as a means of earning pocket money, performing shows for younger childrens birthday parties, etc. As he approached the threshold of adulthood (where he remains to this day), his zeal for conjuring was destined to suffer neglect for some two decades (some wish it could have been longer). Since then, his ego has assumed more modest proportionsa matter still disputed in certain circles (circles in which he now spends minimal time, by the way).
Magic, an Art Form
The fire was rekindled around the turn of the century. With a fresh appreciation for the creativity and skills inherent in the art of performing entertaining magic, Tim has been studying both classic and modern writings on the art of magic, and working to develop some actual skills (for a change). Good magic doesnt just happen. Proficiency in the mechanics of a trick is only the beginning—a foundation on which to build an experience of mystery, humor, or delight for ones audience.
Magic, an Entertainment Medium
Performing again in some context is Tims long-term goal, but with a polished, professional approach. Meanwhile, taking the time (when its available) to study, learn, practice, and interact with peers will be the core of his magic agenda, all other circumstances permitting.
Experiencing magic is different from not knowing how something is done... The appropriate reaction is, “No way!” —Simon Aronson

Tim's goal is a fun blend of humor and mystery—a mutually enjoyable experience for both performer and audience.
Meanwhile, this website is actually here to do more than just satisfy Tims vanity (really!). While it might have seemed a waste of your time to read all this fluff, the accompanying Magic Links and Magic Books pages were developed to serve as more useful resources to others who share Tim's interest in the art of magic. (And no, he’s not selling anything here. Yet.)
Tim’s open to suggestions for additional (preferably, but not exclusively, non-commercial) webbed content to link to.
